As an emerging artist John Drake has captivated audiences with his dedication to drama. Originally from north Georgia and currently living in Philadelphia he has been awarded the William A. Singer Memorial Award for graduate students in opera, performed extensively with Temple University Opera Theatre, and performed at the Kimmel Cultural Center. John will have his role debut as Guglielmo in Mozart’s masterpiece Cosi fan tutte. The production is under the direction of Cara Consilvio and the musical direction of Maestro Filippo Ciabatti.

John will join his fellow staff singers in presenting a recital as part of the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. They will be performing works by Schütz, J.S Bach, as well as Gerald Finzi.
