As a young emerging artist John Drake has captivated audiences with his dedication to drama. Originally from north Georgia and currently living in Philadelphia he has been awarded the William A. Singer Memorial Award for graduate students in opera, performed extensively with Temple University Opera Theatre, and performed at the Kimmel Cultural Center. To cap off his studies at Temple University John will be performing a senior recital featuring, Earth, air, and Rain by Gerald Finzi as well as Faure’s scarcely performed Mirages, as well as other works.
